Ferrero Rocher and Lindt cupcakes

These cupcakes are out of this world and so so easy! I think I lasted 8 hours after seeing them over at Lick The Bowl Good before I had to make them myself. Want the original recipe? Just click the link above.

We had people coming over on Tuesday night and we take it in turns to bring some sweets for the evening. My turn last week meant that I could make these little balls of heaven. No complaining here! We didn't have long after arriving home from work to prepare something, so this was perfect!

I made some chocolate cupcakes. Any recipe will do. I used the easiest recipe I could find. Once they were out of the oven and had cooled down, I used a melon baller (is that what they are called?) to scoop out a little of each of the cupcakes.

Like this....

Each cupcake had a teaspoon of Nutella added to fill its empty stomach and then a Ferrero Rocher (or Lindt ball) was added to the top. No need to make icing. No need to spend hours. Once they had cooled I probably used less than 5 minutes to add the Nutella and pop a chocolate onto each cupcake.

Triple chocolate - chocolate cupcakes, Nutella and a chocolate to top each one off. It's a serious chocolate overdose! I'm not sure if I should apologise or say you're welcome. Let me know once you have tried one...
