During the week I found some time to tidy up a few more cupboards. I am so close to finishing the kitchen now which will be a huge relief (until I hit the playroom or boys rooms haha). I have our coffee/tea cupboard along with two other cupboards to sort and then it's onto the fridge/freezer before I can move on to the next room. Here's a peek into the newly simplified cupboards.
First the glass/mug cupboard. It is easy for a cupboard to look tidy when everything is white or plain glass. This cupboard is easy to maintain as everything has its place.
On the other side of the kitchen is my 'party cupboard'. This holds my random bits and pieces that I use for the boys' parties. I really do need a bigger cupboard as my supplies increase but I will take that one step at a time.
One of my favourite cupboards is my Thermomix treasure cupboard - as I call it. I keep all my Thermomix bits and pieces in this cupboard. They are easy to access at all times as I use them on a daily basis. I am hoping that I will be able to expand this collection with consultant incentives. Excuse the wet cupboards - I had just wiped them down.
The last cupboard that I cleaned out was underneath the sink. We store our bin and dog food in this cupboard. It often needs to be wiped out as food scraps miss/fall out of the bin.
I have wanted to turn our kitchen white since we moved into the house. This week Tim and I have started discussing ways to change it - on a budget. We are hoping to do a bit of DIY and then call a professional resurfacer into spray our kitchen. I can't wait to get it done, but have committed to paying our final credit card off before moving on to this project. Not long now!
